Where are they now? A drum finds it's way to L.A. and ends up in a film soundtrack.

I sent a drum to Simone last December.  Enough time had passed for him to form an opinion so I reached out to him in order to find out what his experience had been like.  I was glad I did.

Hi Patrick,

Yes , I definitely have put your drum to use. In many different ways.

I think that the sound is amazing, and extremely versatile.

I composed and recorded the score for an indie feature film (The Babymoon) which was set in south america, and used the drums extensively in multiple cues.

I used it in many ways.  From as straight up rhythm (as if it was a conga), to a simple whispered textured (using finger nails softly circling on the top to create a bit of a rotatory effect).

What I loved the most is that I can make this drums sing in many different ways.

Here are couple mp3 of example cues using your magic drum. :)
