Simon Chrisman crosses my path from time to time bringing with him an infectious love of mt. biking that he shares with my two sons while the house is ringing with incredible musical and rhythmic chops on the hammered dulcimer, upright bass and more. I finally got him to sit down behind one of my drums and 15 minutes later he was still at it. Here is a little taste.
The video is shot with my iphone and the audio was recorded directly into garage band using a cheap MXL 990 microphone.
Something about how he hits the drum really made it ring showing another side of the versatile C7D sound.
