Circle 7 Drums is a small, family owned and operated business. Each drum is proudly made, by hand, with local materials in Mount Shasta, California, USA, it is given a unique serial number and is then personally signed by the craftsperson who actually made it, and that means something.
Most of the major drum manufacturers have their drums made overseas. That benefits their bottom line, but at the expense of the environment and a healthy economy back home. Our drums are hand-made in the USA. As much as is possible, these drums are made with domestic supplies and materials. If everybody followed that same ethic, this country would be a better place. That is true for everyone, every where, no matter where in the world you call home.
For us it is a patriotic act to nurture the land that is one’s country, and support the communities that one lives in. If one loves their country, then one takes care of it and doesn’t make choices that squander it’s resources and destroy it's beauty. If one cares for their community, one attempts to keep their economic activity close to home where friends and neighbors, not corporate leaders, can derive the most benefit. If one love’s one's family, then it becomes imperative that all choices take the health and happiness of future generation into account. It’s that simple. It is not about politics or any trend, movement, label or horror story, it is just common sense.
Remember when instead of greed, waste, violence and mindlessness this country was about things like being a trustworthy neighbor, and exemplifying the qualities of ingenuity, frugality, and common sense. Well it still does if we still hold strong to those values.
